Dear Readers,

It is with mixed feelings I have decided to stop my reviewing work as of this week. Family health issues are taking an increased amount of my time, and I have writing to work on, including my latest project: putting my “Sword Called Kitten “series on Audiobooks.

Over the last 14 years I have written about 700 reviews, posted on my Airborn Press website, Amazon, and Goodreads. I would like to thank those of my clients who responded to my reviews, usually positively, but sometimes with questions. Those were the interesting ones.

As I have stated on my Renaissance Writer website, my main purpose in offering free reviews is that it got me in touch with many writers, some of whom became clients of my editing services, which I still continue to offer (nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more).

Through it all, those who read my reviews must have noticed that I couldn’t suppress the old teaching impulses. I learned in a workshop once that a good recreational experience of any sort involved a fifteen percent educational element, and sometimes I took shameless advantage of this.

I hope I have helped writers and readers in their enjoyment of our mutual hobby: books.
