Adding to the enjoyment is a heroic and likeable young lady for the main character, and a supporting cast that are perhaps a bit “nice,” considering the environment they derive from.
Then there is enough espionage and skullduggery to make you want to keep turning the pages. And a teaser for the next story at the end to guarantee you’ll keep reading.
This story does not stand out in the list of books of its sort, but it definitely holds its own. Recommended for the YA market and anyone else who wants an entertaining light read.
